Northwestern State University’s Department of Engineering Technology hosted its first session of Project Lead the Way training for high school teachers who will implement the Introduction to Engineering curriculum in their classrooms this fall. NSU is Louisiana’s affiliate university for PLTW, an organization that introduces STEM concepts in classrooms from elementary grades through high school. On the middle row are master teachers Chris Bond and David Boe. On the back row are PLTW Assistant Affiliate Director Kim Gibson and Dr. Margaret Kilcoyne, dean of NSU’s College of Business and Technology.
